Sub.: 36th India Carpet Expo from 21-24 October, 2018 in Varanasi.


Dear  Members,


We would like to inform that the next India Carpet Expo will be organized by this Council under the aegis of Govt. of India from 21-24 October, 2018 in Sampurnanand Sanskrit University sports ground at Varanasi. Over the years the India Carpet Expo has established itself as a sourcing platform for the buyers from all over the world. The Council is making all possible efforts to invite Buyers of Handmade Carpets & Rugs from all over the world for attending the Expo to generate business.


The details of the participation charges and other facilities are as under :


a.        Participation Charges: Rs. 4800.00 per sq. meter + GST @ 18% (Participation Charges includes            built-up stand with table, Chairs, Spot lights, facia and carpeted flooring of the stand).


b.         10% extra for 2 side open corner stands i.e. Rs. 5280/- per sq. meter + GST @ 18%.             If opt for corner stand, total area of the adjoining stands without any partition/ wall             will be treated as corner stands and be charged accordingly for the total stand area.


c.         Compulsory Fees: Rs. 2000/- per exhibitor for their profile entry in the Fair Directory + GST            @ 18%.


d.         Payment Terms: 50% as an advance along with booking form and the balance by 5th October,             2018. Space will be booked only on receipt of the advance payment and stand will be             allotted after receipt of full payment. All payments to be made by Demand Draft/ at par             cheque favouring 'Carpet Export Promotion Council ' payable at New Delhi or transfer of payment             by RTGS as per details given below :

Please note that after transfer of amount of booking through RTGS, the applicant has to inform the RTGS details to CEPC.


e.         Dispatch/ Return of Exhibits: Dispatch and Return of Exhibits shall be the responsibility of the             participants with cost, Council shall not be responsible for the same.


Interested Members may send their space requirement in the enclosed Booking Form with Terms and Conditions and Exhibitors Profile Entry Form duly filled in along with requisite amount to the Council at the earliest. Please note that as per revised Guidelines from Government of India, the CEPC has to upload the details of the participants in the web-site of Ministry of Commerce 15 days before the date of start of event i.e. by 5th October, 2018. The Council reserves its right to accept or reject any application for participation in the above Expo, without assigning any reason.
